Week 11: Exam Prep

This week has been full of exam prep for the Literary Cultures exam I sat on Friday. I’ve had my nose in books about the Restoration, Enlightenment and Romanticism.
Something that went well
I received my written assignment I wrote on courtly love in Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales and got an A!
I’m grateful for
The fact that Yishai and Lorena brought me custard creams and bourbons from England.
I learnt
Literally everything about Romanticism and the Sublime.
A good memory
My friends Yishai and Lorena came over from England for a concert in Stockholm so I got to see them over the weekend!
Looking forward to next week
Finally reading something I’ve chosen myself. I think I might pick up Cress by Marissa Meyer.
Weekly recommendation (book)
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. It was very, very good and such a gothic classic. Everyone should read it.
Weekly movement
The sun has been shining so I’ve been trying to take as many walks as possible. It’s a nice change from all the exam prep I’ve been doing this past week.
