March Goals

It is almost mid March but it’s not too late to set those goals!

Truth is, I’m decent at setting goals, but I’m awful at posting about them. And even if very few read my blog, I enjoy having this backlog of my writing journey on my blog.

I recently posted a blog post about my thoughts after having received beta feedback and what my plan of action is for the rest of the process. You can read it here. It made me realise I should write it down. It makes everything so much more tangible.

So I’m getting my power sheets out and having a look.

CampNaNo2023 is in April (just over half a month away). I originally wanted to finish my NaNoWriMo2022 draft of Project Codex during April, but with uni and all the beta feedback I’ve not managed to finish the plotting for the rest of the book, and I’m feeling very motivated to finish Visions of Ravens since I haven’t touched it for something like half a year.

So let’s have a look at this month’s goals:

Writing:

  • Read Visions of Ravens

  • Take notes on each chapter based on beta feedback

  • Make revision notes/plan of action

Platform:

  • Post something on Instagram

  • Engage with five author on Instagram

  • Try my new weekly blog posts - more on this in another post

  • Record an episode of The Writing Vikings with Lizzie

Reading:

  • Does Visions of Ravens count?

  • Frankenstein (for uni)

  • Gulliver’s Travels (for uni)

Craft:

  • Continue sewing on my viking dress in wool - I don't need to finish it, but I need to make progress

Half of March is still ahead which means there's still a chance to get some stuff done!
