Let the revisions begin!
Just dropping by to announce the next step of the very lengthy process of completing Visions of Ravens.

My plan of action for my third round of revisions on Visions on Ravens is done and I’m ready to attack this monster… again. I’m back from my family holiday in Malta and ready to get going.
I’m looking forward to this process, even though I know it’s going to be a lot of work. The fun thing with revisions is that you can visibly see your book get better before your eyes. Each round of revisions makes me braver (to cut stupid lines and kill darlings), but also better as a writer. I firmly believe that.
Revising is hard, emotionally and mentally, and it takes time, but it is worth it in the end. The last round of revisions did not result in an amazing novel, but it was by far better than the version I had before. And that is both motivating and exciting.
I know the coming two months (I hope it doesn’t take much longer than that) will be hard and challenging, but it needs to be done and am I set on doing it!
Wish me luck!
(I’ve been thinking, would you like a more detailed post about my revision process or what my plan of action looks like? I’d be more than happy to share.)
